    • we were cleaning this morning and I was complaining that even with the downpour we had yesterday the chalk did not come off the side of the house.  We were putting away clothes and with my daughters shirts was the purex 3 in 1 sheet from the dryer and it hit me how soft it still was not like the old dryer sheets that become paper thin after use.  I was taking it to the trash and going to get a washcloth to wipe off the chalk and thought why not use this and then throw it away so I don't ruin one of my washcloths.

  • cloth diapering does not have to break the bank. Gerber prefolds are $12 for a pack of either 6 or 12, I can't remember, but either way it's a great deal. Get a pack of their plastic pants for way cheap, too and you're good to go. Start out doing it part time, at home. Use 'sposies when you're out and about until you feel you have a good handle on it. I found "snappis" on eBay which made it easier to fasten the diapers than worrying about poking her or me with a pin. They're fabulous!

  • I would give cloth diapering a try, but can't afford the up front cost. I love that my kids even want to help the earth more. They try to think of ways we can recycle and save.

  • You dont have to spend alot to go green! Buy some vinegar & baking soda you can use it for cleaning, laundry, & dishwashing! Turn the lights out, wash on cold, I cloth diaper (which is alot at first but totally pays off) & use mama cloth with a cup. You can save by going green :D
