Where in this town can you go to a party, chat with your friends and enjoy a tasty snack or beverage, AND bring your children, who will have a fantastic time?

Why, the Treehouse Social Club, of course!  It’s a fabulous indoor playground featuring a giant treehouse, inside!  Unleash your kids to play and frolic while you socialize and sample the goodies.

All you have to do is bring a pack of disposable diapers.   Kids welcome but not required.

More and more families in Los Angeles are being affected by the recession.  Unemployment is at a record high.  Even when a parent turns to public assistance for help, diapers are not covered by food stamps.  Homeless families – and there are many – need to diaper their babies.  Can you imagine not having a clean diaper for your baby?  Where would you turn?

Online Donations

The diapers we collect during this party will go to PATH Achieve Glendale and Ocean Park Community Centerin Santa Monica.  If you can’t make it, or you live far away, you can contribute online via Paypal.

 

100% of funds donated at the event*, and in the weeks surrounding the event will be used to purchase diapers for these two centers. Sizes 4-6 are the most needed.  Our major sponsor, Huggies, will match donations diaper for diaper up to 3,000 diapers.  So spread the word, join us for a great afternoon, and help us help a mother out!

Also joining us: David Tobocman, the singin’, swingin’ Dad and his ultra-musical, catchy, smart songs for kids leads a guided tour through musical styles from jazz to rock to bluegrass and country to hip hop. Along with a set of traditional sing-along songs, David Tobocman’s Very Helpful Songs are sure to engage kids and entertain from toddler to tween.  AND Birdie Mendoza of Birdie’s Playhouse! With their hip mix of wildlife originals and classic animal songs, Birdie’s Playhouse gets the 1 to 5 year olds shaking their tail feathers!
